- Most homes are a one day tear off and install. Bigger or steeper roofs, or ones where we find decking that has to be replaced, can run into a second day. We'll tell you which one yours is before we start, not partway through.
- Do you tear off the old roof or go over it?
- We tear off. Roofing over the old layer hides whatever is wrong underneath, adds weight the framing wasn't built for, and shortens the life of the new shingles. If a quote comes in cheap because it's a layover, that's what you're paying for.
- What happens if you find rotted decking?
- We show you. Bad decking gets replaced before anything goes back on, and we'll explain what we found and get your approval before we do the extra work. Nothing shows up as a surprise line item afterward.
- Will you protect my landscaping and driveway?
- Yes. Tarps go over the plants, the siding, and the driveway before the first shingle comes off, and the yard gets swept for nails before we leave.
